HPP has a young but experienced and dynamic team of professional staff assisted by a dedicated administration and technical team. We have a core team who have a detailed understanding and knowledge of the Development Control System and Development Plan process. Our team members have considerable experience in dealing with a variety of planning matters and a proven track record in undertaking and managing a wide range of tasks associated with the successful planning promotion of land and buildings. Our expertise ranges from preparing development briefs and environmental assessments through to professional witnesses at public inquiries. As Chartered Town Planners all our staff are fully versed in the latest planning guidance.

In addition to the senior members of staff detailed below, a number of junior members of staff form an important part of our team.

    Paul Fong, BA (Hons), MRTPI Managing Director

    Paul started working in planning in 1989 and has considerable experience of working in the development industry in both the public and private sectors. Paul started his planning career in local government before progressing into the private sector where he has worked for Broadway Malayan and Oldfield King before establishing Hunter Page in 1993. Paul has comprehensive experience in dealing with a variety of planning projects for major commercial developers, house builders and national PLCs. Paul specialises in appeal work and acts frequently as an expert witness at Planning Inquires in respect of various development schemes. Outside work Paul is a keen cyclist.

    Mark Chadwick BA (Hons), Dip TP, MRTPI Director

    Mark has over 15 years experience of planning and development projects both in the private and public sector. He undertakes a range of consultancy tasks providing town planning services to private and public sector clients. While having a detailed working knowledge of the development control system, Mark's specialist background is urban growth areas, planning policy frameworks and strategic and regional planning. Mark also provides expert planning witness services.

    Giles Brockbank Dip TP, MRTPI Director

    Giles commenced his planning career in 1998 and has dealt with a diverse variety of planning and development projects. He worked in both the Development Control and Forward Planning sections at Cotswold District Council before joining Hunter Page in 2001. He provides town planning advice to a range of clients concerning residential, commercial, mixed use, conservation, recreation, retail and telecommunications development. Within these fields he has dealt with a wide range of planning schemes and appeal work representing both Local Authorities and private clients at Informal Hearings and Public Inquiries. Giles specialises in conservation and listed building related projects, regeneration, residential and mixed use developments.

    When not working Giles enjoys playing rugby and Bass Guitar.

    Guy Wakefield - BA (Hons), Dip TP, MRTPI, Director.

    Guy started his career working briefly in local government before moving to Hunter Page where he has now been employed since 1999. He specializes in providing planning advice on a range of matters including initial site appraisals, planning applications (including Environmental Impact Assessments) and the promotion of land through the Local Development Framework process. He works on a wide range of projects across the country, with experience in residential, commercial, education and care home development.

    Outside work Guy enjoys playing golf, skiing and cycling.

    Jamie has been working in Town and Country Planning since the mid 1980s. He provides town planning advice to a range of public and private sector clients concerning strategic and local policy issues; good practice procedures; and residential, commercial, and mixed use development projects. Within these fields he has dealt with a wide range of planning schemes including the preparation of Environmental Impact Assessments and appeal work at Informal Hearings and Public Inquiries. Jamie specialises in regional and strategic planning matters.

    Anne Pawsey - BA (Hons), MRTPI, Senior Planner.

    Anne commenced her planning career in 1991 and has dealt with a wide variety of planning and development projects. Prior to joining the Hunter Page Planning team 3 years ago, Anne has worked in both the local government and the private sector. Anne has considerable experience of preparing and submitting proposals, and guiding them through planning application process. She has also had considerable experience in the appeal process, successfully obtaining planning permission for a number of schemes via the various methods of appeal. Further work includes the promotion of land through the Local Development Framework.  Anne's expertise lies with issues regarding conservation and barn conversions.

    Anne is a keen runner and has recently completed the London Marathon.

    Conor Flanagan - BSc (Hons), MA, Senior Planner.

    Conor has been with Hunter Page since September 2004 securing permissions on a diverse range of projects including office, industrial, residential, leisure and mixed use schemes for a variety of clients.  Conor's educational background in Real Estate and Planning gives him an excellent basis to quickly understand the commercial needs of clients.   With knowledge of the Irish Planning system Conor also plays a leading role in our projects in the Republic of Ireland. 

    Away from the office Conor enjoys rugby, walking and photography.

    Ben Read - BA (Hons), MA, Senior Planner

    Ben joined Hunter Page in April 2005 and has become a key member of the team who is quick to understand our clients' needs. Providing a key supporting role to Giles Brockbank within the company, Ben has been involved in a number of key development projects in the South West. Notably, recently securing planning permission for a major tourist related development in Cornwall requiring an Environmental Impact Assessment. 

    Ben enjoys most outdoor pursuits when not working and is currently training for the London Marathon.

    Before commencing work with Hunter Page Planning Corinne was awarded a BA (Hons) degree in Business Administration. Corinne has worked within Hunter Page Planning as Office Manager since 2001. Her role varies on a daily basis as she concentrates on ensuring that the office is run smoothly. Away from work Corinne enjoys running and skiing.
